ROOTS PROGRAMME
The Roots Programme Intermediate Programme is a course tailored for students of Islamic knowledge. The course provides a solid basis for Islamic scholarship through part-time study with teachers with a track record of teaching Islamic sciences in the UK.
- Start Date: Keep posted for 2024 enrollment!
- Day and Time: Every Friday during term time from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Cost: £100 per person, with additional family members from the same household costing £70 each.
- Audience: Men and Women (16+)
- Teachers: Mohamed Suleman, Mohsin Hashimi and Reduan Adow
You are recommended to purchase the relevant text, the links for which we will share. We will also make available digital copies of the translations. In the case of Maraqi al-Falah we will share a translation as one has not been printed.

Madressah
Class 1-6: The timings are Monday to Wednesday 5.30pm to 7pm. We use the Safar Academy curriculum and focus on Islamic studies, letter recognition and tajweed, daily duahs, and surahs.
Class 7: This class for school years 7 and 8 which runs Thursdays 5.30pm-6:30pm. We use the Safar Academy curriculum and focus on Islamic studies suitable for secondary age children.
New Muslims
One of the challenges of our time is to equip those new to the faith with the correct basic knowledge upon which they can then build the rest of their religion.
This is in part due to our hectic lifestyles, but also in part due to the glut of information available, which often confuses a person about how to proceed in a step by step manner.
Lote Tree aims to have a programme in place, to allow the dissemination of fard ul-‘ayn knowledge i.e. knowledge which is obligatory upon every Muslim.
